I couldn’t make it to the Ravens preseason game vs the Green Bay Packers, life got in the way and I got stuck at work. It sucked because not only did I miss going to the game, I also missed the halftime show. Which normally isn't a big deal, but from what I heard this was one halftime show I would have enjoyed. No disrespect to Baltimore’s Marching Ravens, but I am talking about the Hawks 7U team that by all accounts put on a show against the Woodlawn Falcons. I may not have been at the game, but my phone, and my inbox was buzzing with compliments for Coach Carters’ seven-year-old studs.
Big shot out to the Ravens and their 'Rise'program which does amazing things for the local youth football community, including uniforms grants, and oppurtunites like this. I can only imagine how exciting it had to be for a 7 year old to play in an NFL stadium, under the bright lights, with 20,000 cheering fans. Find out more information at www.baltimoreravens.com
