Our organization could not exist without volunteers sacrificing their time, energy, and expertise. Hats off to all the devoted coaches, administration personnel, team moms, boosters and everyone that takes time away from their busy schedule to be a part of our family. We know coaching is not for everybody and we realize that not everyone has enough hours in their day to commit to that type of workload, but for those of you that would like to help, it is greatly appreciated.
Spotters- a spotters job is to make sure that the other team is playing all their players, in MYFA all players must participate in at least six plays by the end of the third quarter or be immediately inserted in the game at the start of the 4th quarter until they have participated in at least six plays. Spotters set up on the opponent’s sideline and are vital to ensure the rules of fair play and participation are met.
Chain Crew- The chain crew is the group of people that work closely with the referees during games. They are responsible for manning the yard markers that show us whether the ball has been advanced 10 yds, and the down marker. These positions are important and can affect not only the flow of the game but also the outcome.
Drivers- All our parents do not drive, and some of our parents that do work weekends. If your going to the game and have extra room in your vehicle maybe you can help transport players or supplies.
If you would like to volunteer for any of the above positions, please speak to Coach Brandon.
